Ethan Long wrote and illustrated this wonderful
book about a bird and birdie. He captures the life of a
bird so well and it is cute and innocent that I was
moved to read it over and over to my niece, nephew
and some kids in a daycare center close to where I live.
           The kids absolutely loved it.

The reader will be transported to spend a beautiful
morning, wonderful afternoon, and a marvelous
evening with Bird and Birdie. This book contains three
funny, sweet, and lively stories about friendship,
sharing and forgiveness. All of these topics are very
important for kids to learn and understand.

I recommend this book to kids ages 3 to 8. Parents
will also be transported by the prose and the story. I
           really loved it.

Ethan Long is an illustrator of thirty-three children’s
books including Manana, Iguana, Wuv Bunnies from
Outers Pace, and the Tickle the Duck! series. Ethan lives
in Florida with his wife and three children. Please visit
